Mark A. Thierer

Mark Thierer is a lifelong leader in the healthcare industry with more than 30 years of experience leading organizations to financial and operational success. As CEO of Eversana, he leads the company's vision to accelerate the industry’s shift to patient-centered, value-based care. Mark previously served as CEO of OptumRx, where he oversaw all Optum pharmacy care services. Prior to OptumRx, Mark served as chairman and CEO of Catamaran (NASDAQ: CTRX), one of the nation’s largest pharmacy benefit management companies serving 35 million lives. Catamaran was acquired by United Healthcare and combined with OptumRx. Mark was president, CEO and chairman of SXC Health Solutions, which merged with Catalyst Health Solutions to create Catamaran. He previously served as president of Physicians Interactive, a division of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, and a corporate officer with Caremark Rx (now CVS Caremark). Earlier in his career, Mark spent 10 years at IBM in its health industry division. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Minnesota and a master’s in business administration from Nova Southeastern University. He also earned the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. Mark is a managing partner with AssetBlue Investment Group and chairman of P3 Health Partners (NASDAQ: PIII). He and his wife Nasrin founded The Thierer Family Foundation, a charity founded on addressing food insecurity of people in need.
