Mike Mirt has more than 40 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry. He is the former president of HealthSpring, one of the largest Medicare Advantage plans in the United States. Previously, he was executive vice president and COO of AmeriChoice, a UnitedHealth Group company offering healthcare coverage to Medicaid beneficiaries. Mike also served as regional president at Cigna. His early career was devoted to medical delivery building and operating healthcare facilities. Mike is a member of the board of directors of Medical Guardian and the former executive chairman of Premise Health. He has served on numerous not-for-profit boards, including Best Buddies, Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee, United Way, and March of Dimes. Mike received both his bachelor's and master’s degrees in healthcare sciences from Wichita State University.
