Rob Womsley
Managing Partner
Rob Womsley has more than 20 years of global investment experience. Prior to joining Water Street, he was a senior partner with Citi Private Equity. As head of European operations, Rob led Citi Private Equity to complete more than $1 billion of direct investments across a variety of industries. He was promoted to a number of senior executive positions during his career at Citi including serving as global head of its Private Equity Placement group. Previously, Rob was a managing director in the Sponsor Coverage group and the Chicago Investment Banking group. He currently serves on the boards of ALCOR Scientific, Avantik, Discovery Life Sciences, MedSpeed, Pathnostics, RENOVO Solutions, and Solvias. He received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his master’s in business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
