Headquartered in Mainz, Germany, Orgentec partnered with Water Street in 2014. Over the next seven years, we leveraged our team's diagnostics expertise and network of resources to transform Orgentec into a global provider of specialty diagnostic solutions for autoimmune and infectious diseases. Working with leadership, we invested in organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions that bolstered Orgentec's commercial capabilities, expanded its global footprint, and optimized its R&D efforts. Water Street divested the company to Sebia, a global in-vitro diagnostic testing company.
