Building on the success of our companies specializing in generic drug reformulation, Water Street launched Long Grove Pharmaceuticals in 2019. Long Grove stands out for its strength in addressing generic development opportunities with complex formulations, challenging manufacturing and supply chain dynamics, and uncommon regulatory approval pathways in niche markets. Long Grove both develops complex generic products for its own portfolio and partners with healthcare organizations to create new entities that lead development and regulatory approval of products on their behalf. Al Heller, a Water Street operating partner who has more than 35 years of leadership experience in life sciences, serves as the company’s chairman. He and the leadership team are actively pursuing a robust pipeline of partnership and product development opportunities.
