Access MediQuip

Access MediQuip is the nation’s leading provider of comprehensive surgical implant management solutions. It supports health plans with managing the high costs of implantable medical devices, along with improving quality and safety to facilities, surgeons and patients. The management team chose to partner with Water Street in 2006 to lead Access MediQuip through its next phase of growth. We assumed majority ownership and management retained a significant position in the business. Water Street leveraged our network of industry relationships to recruit an executive team with years of clinical and payer experience. Together, we redefined the company’s value proposition to customers. We invested in expanding the company’s IT infrastructure and facilitated introductions to the nation’s leading health plans. We are continuing to work with the management team to expand the company’s value proposition to customers.
